ABOUT ME
My name is Valerie Gozzo, and I am a licensed Interior Designer. Growing up in Houston, TX, my passion for design blossomed at a young age, inspired by shows like Trading Spaces on TLC. This obsession followed me through high school, leading me to pursue a degree in Interior Design at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, TX. There, I embraced the vibrant community, cheered for the Horned Frogs, and immersed myself in the design process.
After earning my Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design with a minor in Architectural Lighting, I returned to Houston to embark on my professional journey. In 2021, I achieved my licensing as an interior designer, solidifying my commitment to the craft.
In 2024, my partner Logan and I made the decision to relocate to Knoxville, TN. Our love for outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and camping influenced our move, as we sought a lifestyle that aligned more closely with our interests. In Knoxville, we’re enjoying this new chapter that supports our passions, alongside our dog, Nala, and cat, Nigel, who enrich our lives with their companionship.
Beyond the outdoors, I engage in creative pursuits through DIY projects, specializing in refinishing furniture and crafting decorative wreaths. My enthusiasm for sports is evident as I cheer for my favorite teams, including the Horned Frogs, the Astros, and the US Women's National Soccer team. Now living in Volunteer country, I’m looking forward to cheering them on as well.
